The church is of two towers joining the new classic and gothic architectural styles was built in 1956 along with the ruins of the church of Saydet El Daher or El Talleh as anciently known to fulfill the vow of one of the inhabitants of the locality for the Virgin Mary.
The church was depicted with icons referring to the cross stations brought from Italia, oily paintings and org. Due to the construction of the church, the cemeteries were transferred to the southem extremity of locality instead of downtown.
